How and if you can hide apps depends on your version of iOS. If you don't know your version of iOS, go to Settings > General > About > Software Version.

iOS 14+

On your iPhone, Hold down on any app on your home screen and choose "Remove App" > "Remove From Home Screen" (note that this is only available on iPad starting on iPadOS 15)

Note: The app will still appear in iOS 14's new "App Library" feature. There is currently no way to remove the app from the App Library in iOS 14.

- After doing this, remove the app from Search and Siri by going to Settings > (app name) > Siri & Search, then disable all options

Once your app is hidden, you can add the app to your Locker and easily launch it from there.

iOS 12-13

iOS 12 and iOS 13 do not provide an easy way to remove any app from your home screen, but there are 2 things you could do to make the app not appear for a user swiping through your phone screens:

1. Create an app folder on your home screen and put the app on the 2nd page of the folder, that way the icon is not visible at all from the home screen.

2. You can hide stock Apple apps, or decide to hide all apps with a certain age rating, using these instructions: https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-hide-apps-in-ios-12-on-iphone-ipad/

We are currently looking for an even better way to hide apps on iOS 12-13.

- After doing this, remove the app from Search and Siri by going to Settings > (app name) > Siri & Search, then disable all options

Once your app is hidden, you can add the app to your Locker and easily launch it from there.

iOS 11

1. Hold down app icon until all apps start to shake. 2. Let go of app, then begin to hold home button to start Siri. 3. Immediately after starting to hold home button, move the app around at the same time. Drop the app while Siri is running, and the app will disappear.

 iOS 10

1. Put your app on screen 2. Make sure screen 1 and bottom dock are completely full of apps. 2. Drag your app from screen 2 to screen 1, and hold on top of another app (do not let go). 3. When “folder” appears, drag app down to bottom-center of the dock, then let go
